Beautiful, stunning scenery! Kirk leads the way on his horse Crackerjack, with Tommy on Mikey and his wife, Ann on Jackie following. Huey is riding Calypso, a sweet stocky little 14.2H Paso Fino gelding that probably anyone can ride, followed by Cisco.

Tied to a fence in beautiful Colorado after our ride.
Can you see why our horses have no problem with water crossings?
Handsome boy! (His mane is on the other side.)
We are standing in a patch of snow on the mountain in Crested Butte, Colorado. If only I could make this moment last forever!

"Cisco Kid" -- Extremely NICE horse! I call this smooth 15.2H black and white spotted Tennessee Walking Horse gelding "Whisper Foot", because you cannot feel his hooves touch the ground. Nice, solid four-beat gait with absolutely NO pace in his body! As a bonus, he'll pick up a nice, rolling athletic canter and we train our horses to do that on the trail on hills. We train them to walk slowly downhill, one step at a time, but cantering up is allowed and encouraged because it's really 'overdrive' for them. Cisco has been used during his life for organized (down the side of highways) trail rides and parades, and now he has a traveling/camping career with us. Texas and Colorado trails are giving him lots of wet saddle blanket experiences and I would be confident to put just about any level rider on him. He has been trained to go up and touch/smell any obstacle that scares him, and he has also spent lots of time riding at the back of the group, leaving all the rest of the horses and then rejoining them calmly. I have used him for my 'photog assistant' as I break off from the group, crash through the underbrush and slog through boggy areas to get the best pictures and videos with my camera.
Cisco Kid comes from Spotted Alen Again background, one of our favorite bloodlines (he was the sire of Spotted Alen Again) and Melodys Knight Rider, which produced a lot of solid four-beat gaiting horses. On the bottom, Cisco gets his stamina from his famous maternal great grandsire and World Grand Champion "The Pusher", and his dam also goes back to Go Boy's Insignia which produced a lot of gentle, sane horses. Cisco is registered TWHBEA and was born 2/22/04. He can go barefoot or keg shod with perfect gait -- no gimmicks! $6500
