THIS is what we do.  We recently put together a "reunion/refresher" camp, which several previous customers brought their horses to, rode with us, we offered pointers and helped with any issues they might have questions about, and had a very, very LARGE time!  Gourmet meals at camp, fellowship dinners, singing and laughing around the campfire.  Click on the above embedded arrow to ride along with us.

"Briscoe" -- Lifetime kind of horse -- probably gentle for ANYONE to ride!!  Gorgeous coming 4-yr-old 15.2H silver/buttermilk buckskin Tennessee Walking Horse gelding, probably gentle for anyone to ride.  Soft, smooth, almost single footing gait with nice speed, will poke along slowly if you want him to.  Parks out, yields front and hindquarters, side pass, back . . . a pro at being bathed, hooves being handled, and being loaded/unloaded in a trailer -- backs out if asked, will turn around and follow you out if asked.  He is a half brother to "Gentle Ben", below (same sire, different dams) -- nice set of gentle, beautiful, classy buckskins!  They have both been ridden down the side of the highway extensively, wagons, traffic, dogs, loud music . . . we just got back from a camping trip in Brenham (weekend of 1/29/11) where 5 different riders all switched off and rode them.  This horse is naturally very mellow and gentle, so easy to handle, runs in the pasture at night with other geldings (and young stud colts) and stalled in the daytime.  Click on his picture and check back often for more info, including videos.  $6500

When Briscoe was born, he looked a lot like a palomino!  Lots of people do not understand that most (if not all) buckskins are born WITHOUT their black stockings, and in about 3-4 months, they shed and the black hairs appear.  Wasn't he a darling fellow?

Raised right!  Socially interactive, healthy, just enough human interaction to keep him gentle, yet respectful.  They love the 4-wheeler, because it brings FOOD!  This is 'teenaged' Briscoe.

Now, you can see Briscoe's black stockings starting to come in.  His ears are tipped in black, and his tail is showing the agouti gene (which creates the black points buckskin).
